Update: LA Times Accidentally Reveals 2013 Coachella Lineup; Justin Timblerlake & Daft Punk Headline

UPDATE: The LA Times have denied that this story and screenshot are real. Read their post HERE. Now my only question is, who the hell has time to fabricate this stuff? Maybe the same guy behind the Manti Te’o hoax is a huge Coachella fan…
UPDATE: COACHELLA OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES 2013 LINEUP
Earlier this morning, the Los Angeles Times posted and immediately removed an article revealing all the major acts performing at Coachella in 2013, naming Daft Punk and Justin Timberlake as headliners, and confirming recent news of The Postal Service’s reunion. From the reading:
Years of hopes and rumors have finally come to fruition, for Daft Punk is set to return to the live stage to close the 2013 edition of the duel-weekend Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
Update: Complete Coachella 2013 Lineup Leak

UPDATE (4/13): Watch the live stream of Coachella weekend 1 here.
UPDATE (1/24): This poster is fake. For the official Coachella 2013 lineup, see HERE.
Following believable (kind of) news that Daft Punk, Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Rolling Stones would be headlining Coachella next year, an entire 2013 lineup has surfaced featuring the aforementioned headliners along with Deadmau5, Missy Elliot, Lana Del Rey, Boys Noize, Fiona Apple, The Prodigy, Passion Pit and The xx and more. The dates have a similar format to last year, and include the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21.
Now, as you’ve likely noticed, Coachella rumors have been a trending topic throughout the blogosphere this year. What we do know for sure is that Coachella announced the official 2012 lineup on Monday, January 9th, meaning regardless if this leak is rumor or reality, the official 2013 details should be revealed shortly.
Hit the break to get your hopes up with the assumed 2013 Coachella lineup, and look for an update as this news circulates into the new year.
UPDATE 1: Archie, gLAdiator and Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman (among other artists) all came out and said they were NOT scheduled to play at Coachella this year, confirming what most of us feared: this lineup is (at least partially) fake. Sorry guys.
UPDATE 2: The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger denys Coachella 2013 rumors.

Daft Punk, Phoenix & Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Headline Coachella 2013

Following recent reports that The Rolling Stones would be performing at Coachella next year, a plausible email alert has revealed that Daft Punk, Phoenix and Yeah Yeah Yeahs could be joining the party in 2013. In the (assumed real) screenshot below, it appears that live-music alert service Songkick has accidentally sent out an early notification to it’s subscribers.
