daft punk doin it right aeropsia remix

Having previously posted his remix of XXYYXX’s “About You” with Mist Glider back in April, I was excited when California producer Aeropsia approached me about premiering his “I couldn’t resist” remix of Daft Punk‘s “Doin’ It Right.”

Ryan Hemsworth – Still Awake EP

ryan hemsworth still awake

Defining my state of mind for the past week, Ryan Hemsworth has dropped of the latest in a long run of free releases, his brand new Still Awake EP. Complete with intimate track titles like “(。◕‿◕。) (or, I Want to Stare at Your Face Until I Die)” and “All Our Thoughts Are Physical,” a note that reads “Thank you for listening while you’re doing stuff in the world,” and the sounds consistent with the emoji genre :’), the prolific Internet-favorite has compiled 6 original songs (plus a brilliant remix from Taquwami) that hit the bullseye of my late night listening dartboard. Download for free below.

what so not the quack ep

As the collaborative side project of Australia’s Flume and Emoh Instead, What So Not have always produced a very unique, almost experimental brand of bass music. Today though, they are taking it to a whole different level on their new EP, The Quack. In the span of two tracks, What So Not combine their characteristicly crunchy rhythms with 808s and synthesizers set to the duck mode, creating a truly one-of-a-kind lesson in the combination of house, grime, hip hop and bass music. Stream both tracks and read the boys explanations after the break, and pick up The Quack EP on iTunes via OWSLA / Sweat It Out.

Say Lou Lou – Julian (Lancelot & HNNY Remixes)

Officially, the Julian EP release included remixes from Martin Dubka, Lissvik, Monsieur Adi and Checan, but today, Say Lou Lou have offered up three more outstanding mixes of the track for free download. In the bundle you get the previously posted uplifted rework from The Chainsmokers, as well two sexy, deep mixes from Sydney’s Lancelot and Stockholm’s HNNY (appropriate locations given Say Lou Lou’s upbringing). If not the best of the entire bunch, these two “Julian” remixes end up as high favorites, both bringing an unmatched amount of pure house groove appropriate for an intimate Summer night. Grab them both below.
