Since their big Swedish House Mafia split, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso wasted no time in getting back together for their ‘Departures’ residency at Ushuaia, Ibiza. Now, the duo is replacing Steve Angello with Disney to contribute an original track, “Roar,” to the upcoming Pixar-produced Monsters University film (the prequel to 2001′s wildly celebrated Monsters Inc). The collaboration will be released on June 4, alongside remixes from Style of Eye and Yogi, and can be previewed in the latest Monsters University trailer, “It All Began Here,” below.

Having previously posted his remix of XXYYXX’s “About You” with Mist Glider back in April, I was excited when California producer Aeropsia approached me about premiering his “I couldn’t resist” remix of Daft Punk‘s “Doin’ It Right.”
Defining my state of mind for the past week, Ryan Hemsworth has dropped of the latest in a long run of free releases, his brand new Still Awake EP. Complete with intimate track titles like “(｡◕‿◕｡) (or, I Want to Stare at Your Face Until I Die)” and “All Our Thoughts Are Physical,” a note that reads “Thank you for listening while you’re doing stuff in the world,” and the sounds consistent with the emoji genre :’), the prolific Internet-favorite has compiled 6 original songs (plus a brilliant remix from Taquwami) that hit the bullseye of my late night listening dartboard. Download for free below.

This past week, Deadmau5 uploaded preview after preview of new music he’s been hard at work crafting in the studio. First we got the orchestral “Suite 03,” then came the Random Album Title-esque “Monophobia,” and now we’ve got the most extensive of the three, a back and forth collaboration with OWSLA cohort Kill The Noise, tentatively titled “Killthemau5.”
Disclosure‘s latest, “When A Fire Starts To Burn,” seems appropriately named for the duo’s blazing musical presence so far this year. The song wastes no time reeling you in, first with the bold vocals, then with the almost hypnotic bassline. The vocals aren’t as soulful as what we’ve heard on tracks like “You & Me” and “Latch,” but they work incredibly well here. Catch the single below, pre-order the US Version of Settle on iTunes, and try to walk away with it not stuck in your head.
