Empire of the Sun – Alive (Mat Zo Remix)

Empire of the Sun‘s “Alive” remix package keeps getting bigger and bigger, having first enlisting the talents of M4SONIC and Zedd, and now adding Britain’s Mat Zo to the fray. Unlike his electro-heavy predecessors, Zo takes an airy progressive house approach to the song, resulting in a sweeping 5-minutes of beauty. Taken as the first single from his upcoming Club Life Volume 3: Stockholm compilation, Tiesto‘s “Take Me” also serves as the legendary DJ’s first solo outing in 2013. He described the song to Billboard as the “perfect definition of what I stand for at the moment,” combining a trance-ready vocal from Kyler England with bouncy progressive house tendencies that really represent Tiesto’s evolution as a producer. No doubt you’ll be hearing a lot of this one from now until the end of Summer.
