The biggest electronic dance music festival in the world just got even bigger.
Following a near-instant sellout of it’s July dates, Tomorrowland announced today that the festival will expand outside it’s Belgium home to a new, undisclosed location for TomorrowWorld on September 27-29th of this year.
Festival creators Manu & Michiel Beers declined to offer insight into the exact location of TomorrowWorld, but did provide this enticing little teaser:
We’ve found a beautiful location that feels like a second home, and it’s very similar to our fantastic terrain in Belgium. We will reveal all the details within the coming weeks.
If you’re one for speculation, the most obvious location is North America, purely based off the floating bottle on the official TomorrowWorld website and the recent partnership of Tomorrowland organizers ID&T with Live Nation and SWX.
Where would you like to see TomorrowWorld plant it’s flag? Leave your guesses in the comments and we should have our answer soon.
UPDATE: Albert Berdellans, an employee of Ultra Music and the man most know as EDMsnob, claimed to have leaked TomorrowWorld’s location on Twitter shortly after the official announcement.
It should be noted that the Atlanta destination as well as the relocation of CounterPoint’s festival he describes are still unconfirmed, but we should get an update within a couple of weeks from Tomorrowland either way. In the meantime…TomorrowWorld Atlanta anyone?
