An Album’s Worth of Unreleased Lana Del Rey Music, Potentially Appearing on Born To Die: Paradise Edition
As I alluded to yesterday, there has been a ton of unreleased Lana Del Rey music floating around over the past few months. It shouldn’t come as a surprise though, considering Lizzy is gearing up for a November re-release of Born To Die, which according to her will include seven new tracks on top of the original twelve.
It’s not a new album, it’s more like an afterthought. It’s the “Paradise Edition” of Born To Die…It’s like seven new songs that kind of put a period on the statement I was making when I made the record.
That was Lana back on July 24th in an interview with NovaFM in Melbourne, Australia, and today, it would appear we have all seven of those “afterthoughts,” plus a few more. Fourteen to be exact (at least that’s as many as I can find that sound reasonable), all unreleased tracks that have been gradually revealing themselves over the last three or four months. There’s no word yet on any sort of official tracklist for the new release, but you’ll probably notice some tracks have more Paradise potential than others (*Note: I’m 95% sure “Serial Killer” and “Ooh Baby” will be on the album). Listen below (or take a few more seconds to admire her GQ photo above) and expect an update as we inch closer to Del Rey’s Born To Die Paradise “period.”
