Lana Del Rey’s “Burning Desire” Featured in New Jaguar Advertisement

To say Lana Del Rey is creating considerable buzz for her re-upped Born To Die album would be an understatement. Already having “Blue Velvet” featured in a new H&M campaign, the luscious-lipped songstress is on to Jaguar, where her Paradise add-on “Burning Desire” sets the mood for a stunning clip showcasing the new F-TYPE. If you ever needed a definition of “Sound Is Style,” this is it.

Catch the full “Burning Desire” audio after the break, and look for The Paradise Edition of Born To Die out November 12 (preview all the new tracks here).

I’m in love.

Tegan and Sara – Closer

Identical twins Tegan and Sara are gearing up for what will become their seventh studio album in 2013, so it’s kind of crazy that I’ve never really gotten into their music outside of a few EDM vocal features (“Every Chance We Get We Run” – Alesso, David Guetta, “Body Work,” – Morgan Page, and “Feel It In My Bones” – Tiesto, to name some favorites).

If there was ever a reason to get hooked on the Canadian duo though, it would be through their new single “Closer.” Opening with an “80s prom slow dance movie scene” feel, it quickly turns to an upbeat indie/pop head bopper, screaming Fall romance along the way. Grab it on iTunes below and make the transition to sweater season that much easier.

Kimbra – Settle Down (Cesqeaux Trap Remix)

There have been an unfathomable number of “Settle Down” remixes this year, but with trap music at an all time high, it seems appropriate to share this one from The Netherlands’ Cesqeaux. Labeled as 3D surround futuristic trap, it’s got a great contrast from the quaint Kimbra original to his buzzing, bouncy drops, and is a little off the beaten path from the majority of what you think to be your classic trap sound (which is a good thing).

If you dig this, I highly recommend heading over to Cesqeaux’s SoundCloud for more of the same, particularly his remix of “Titan.”

Rihanna – Diamonds

As much people like to hate on mainstream musicians, Rihanna deservingly stands out as a genuine artist. She doesn’t like to follow all the rules, she’s undeniably beautiful (or sexually attractive, however you want to look at it), and her music reflects that.

Serving as the lead single off her upcoming seventh studio album, “Diamonds” is a hit, big enough to have those non-fans saying, “damn, this is kind of awesome and I don’t even care for Rihanna.” Check it out below and expect more details on the LP as we get closer to it’s expected November release.
