Flatbush ZOMBiES – MRAZ

As far as up and coming rappers go, Flatbush ZOMBiES were among 2012′s most beloved, and for good reason. The biggest drop from the duo came on their collaboration with A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ant on “Bath Salt,” but tracks like this one prove these brash Brooklyn natives have plenty to offer on their own. Produced by Erick Arc Elliott, check out “MRAZ” below.
Get Wild For The Night with Soundisstyle’s Essential Party Playlist Part 2

Just in time for New Years, your favorite party playlist has gone from tipsy to blackout with the addition of its absolutely insane second installment.
Like Part 1, Part 2 of Soundisstyle’s Essential Party Playlist runs through 60 tracks, spans nearly 5 hours, and is designed to mimic the natural progression of a party. It features a first half heavy in hip hop (i.e. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar & Kanye West), a small sprinkling of radio pop in the middle (i.e. Ke$ha, will.i.am & PSY), and a second half geared toward the electronic dance fan inside all of us (i.e. Calvin Harris, Zedd & Dillon Francis). Once you hit play, you’ll notice it really has a bit of everything and still flows like it was meant to be.
The download below is in .zip form, and includes all the music, the album and tracklist art, and an .m3u playlist file that should allow you to import the entire set to iTunes with one click. When I initially put the link on Facebook and Twitter it got over 1000 downloads in the first two hours alone, so take your peers advice and crank the volume on Soundisstyle’s Essential Party Playlist Part 2 after the break.
Video: The Neighbourhood – A Little Death

The Neighbourhood’s “A Little Death” is quickly becoming one of my new favorite songs as we close out the year, so the addition of a music video is quite the welcomed Christmas present.
Directed by Daniel Iglesias Jr. and Zack Sekuler the characteristic lo-fi clip creates a perfectly literal interpretation of the song’s lyrics, teasing a fine line between sex and terror along the way. What starts as steamy girl on girl action quickly takes a turn for the dramatic in a twist that completes exactly what “A Little Death” is all about.
Update: Complete Coachella 2013 Lineup Leak

UPDATE (4/13): Watch the live stream of Coachella weekend 1 here.
UPDATE (1/24): This poster is fake. For the official Coachella 2013 lineup, see HERE.
Following believable (kind of) news that Daft Punk, Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Rolling Stones would be headlining Coachella next year, an entire 2013 lineup has surfaced featuring the aforementioned headliners along with Deadmau5, Missy Elliot, Lana Del Rey, Boys Noize, Fiona Apple, The Prodigy, Passion Pit and The xx and more. The dates have a similar format to last year, and include the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21.
Now, as you’ve likely noticed, Coachella rumors have been a trending topic throughout the blogosphere this year. What we do know for sure is that Coachella announced the official 2012 lineup on Monday, January 9th, meaning regardless if this leak is rumor or reality, the official 2013 details should be revealed shortly.
Hit the break to get your hopes up with the assumed 2013 Coachella lineup, and look for an update as this news circulates into the new year.
UPDATE 1: Archie, gLAdiator and Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman (among other artists) all came out and said they were NOT scheduled to play at Coachella this year, confirming what most of us feared: this lineup is (at least partially) fake. Sorry guys.
UPDATE 2: The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger denys Coachella 2013 rumors.

UPDATE (1/24): This poster is fake. For the official Coachella 2013 lineup, see HERE.
Video: A$AP Rocky – Long Live A$AP

Behind hits like “Fuckin’ Problems” and “Goldie,” it would appear “Long Live A$AP” is destined to be the next big song on A$AP Rocky’s debut album. After releasing the official audio stream a couple of days ago, DAT PMF has treated us with a distinctive, throne-themed music video for the new A$AP anthem. Directed by Samantha Lecca, watch “Long Live A$AP” below and pre-order the album on iTunes here.
Laura Mvula – She (Jakwob ‘Don’t Stop’ Bootleg)

It’s Christmas Eve Eve. Odds are your day has consisted of sleeping, eating, watching football, tweeting about how lazy you’ve been all day, and contemplating sleeping some more. Here to help make sure you accomplish the latter is England’s Jakwob, who just uploaded his hypnotizing ‘Don’t Stop’ bootleg of Laura Mvula’s already serene single, “She,” for free download. If this track doesn’t make you float off to dreamland, I’m not sure what will.
